FC 08 HOMBURG SHIRT

The Away FC 08 Homburg Shirt features in Batch 17 of Bundesliga Boxes and here we have taken a brief look at the shirt, and the club.

FC 08 Homburg History

Homburg participate in the Regionalliga Sud-West and currently occupy 6th place. Founded in, yes you guessed it, 1908, they are famous for wearing green shirts which we have featured before however we are reviewing the 2021/2022 Pink Away Shirt.

Whilst many followers of German football may not have come across FC 08 Homburg, it was only the 1980s when they peaked. In 1986 they reached The Bundesliga for two seasons and again returned for the 1989/90 season. Between those years the DFB stopped the club displaying their shirt sponsor as it was a Condom Company, click here to see image. Since 1999 FC 08 Homburg have spent most of their years in Oberliga Sudwest (fifth tier).

FC 08 Homburg Away Shirt 2021/2022

If you were told of a shirt described as Pink and with Stripes it may describe something which you have no desire to own. However, this FC 08 Homburg Shirt is Salmon Pink offering a much more neutral tone whilst the stripes are more pinstripe and horizontal. Do you have a pink shirt in your collection? You can’t go far wrong with this.

The Homburg Badge is a piece of art and features on the shirt breast with the Adidas logo on the opposite side.

The reverse of the shirt features the Dr Theiss Sponsor towards the rear whilst FC 08 Homburg is written high on the neck.
